These terms govern your use of the Qlipt iOS app ("Qlipt", "we"). By using the app you agree to them.
Qlipt helps you create short-form videos: it can generate scripts and scene plans, guide your filming, suggest edits using AI, and provide editing tools. AI features require an internet connection and are provided on a fair-use basis; we may apply reasonable limits to keep the service available for everyone.
You own everything you create with Qlipt — your recordings, scripts, and finished videos. You grant us only the limited right to process the text you submit (prompts, scripts, transcripts, and footage descriptions) through our servers and AI providers for the sole purpose of providing the app's features. You are responsible for the content you create and for having the rights to any material you bring into the app.
Stock clips suggested by the app are provided by Pexels and are subject to the Pexels License, which permits free use in your videos, including commercially.
Scripts, scene plans, and edit decisions are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review everything before you publish. You are responsible for videos you share, including any claims they make.
Don't use Qlipt to create content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or harasses or harms others; don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; and don't use automated means to overload the AI features.
Qlipt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of content — keep backups of videos that matter to you. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero, as the app is free).
We may update the app, these terms, or discontinue features at any time. We may suspend access that violates these terms. You can stop using Qlipt at any time by deleting the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
