Delete your Qlipt account

For Qlipt on iPhone and Android. On Google Play, Qlipt is published by Nsibidi Labs LLC.

In the app

Open Qlipt, go to Settings, and under Account tap Delete account. Confirm, and the account is deleted from our server straight away. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm too. If you're signed out, sign in the same way as before first.

Without the app

Email qliptapp@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Qlipt account". If you signed in with Apple's private relay address, tell us that and roughly when you joined. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.

What's deleted

your account, your email address and your saved setup (topics and caption style);
all your sign-in sessions, on every device;
your usage record, including extra videos you bought and haven't used;
the records that link your purchases to your account;
the free-plan counters kept for your account.

What's kept, and for how long

The free-plan counters kept for your device, which aren't linked to your account, so the free plan doesn't start over.
Processing jobs (the text of scripts, transcripts and the edits made from them) are deleted 30 days after they were made, as they always are.
Anonymous usage counts, which were never linked to you.
Anything the law requires us to keep.

Your projects and videos live on your phone. Deleting the app, or a project in it, removes them.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel Qlipt Pro. Cancel it where you bought it: on iPhone, in the Settings app (tap your name, then Subscriptions); on Android, in the Google Play Store app (tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions).
